The Yukon Territory. Until recently, it was a highlight from 8th grade geography. Now, I’m going there — this weekend.
I’m heading up to not only visit Whitehorse, Yukon, but to speak on a panel about travel writing, zip line, mush (!) and ride horses, and spend a day/night in Calgary to boot. I’m too excited to sleep. I’ll be north of the border for 10 days, and even venture into Alaska, a state high on my to-do list. I can’t wait to go, take photos, and tell you all about it.
One thing the CTC invited me to do in preparation was to take the “What’s My Traveler Type” quiz. It’s not quite a Myers-Briggs, but it’s interesting. I encourage you to take it and let me know what you think. I got “Cultural Explorer” the first time and “Free Spirit” just now. And while we’re on the topic, I like to think I’m a Charlotte, but I always get Samantha or Miranda. Personality quizzes are clearly mood-dependent for me.
Anyway, take the quiz, let me know what you get, and tune in next week as I explore the incredible scenery of Whitehorse and beyond. It’s going to be a happy time!

I too k the quiz but nothing happened. I hope they tell me who I am. We’re in Chicago and you’re in the Yukon. Life is not always completely fair. Were so glad you’re having this lovely trip. You needed it. Tony is cat sitting. Carrie is huge and lovely. Can’t wait to hear about mushing!!! Love love love
