Bonjour friends! Pure Happy Travel is going to Paris! Gay Paree or Straight Paree, we’ll take it however it’s served. We’ll be leaving March 17 for a VERY exciting event: my sister’s wedding at the Four Seasons George V. My husband and I will be staying in Paris for the following week. Basically, it’s going to be awesome.
This is not a press trip, so don’t expect the usual action-packed, 5-museums-in-a-day rundowns. Frankly, I’d love nothing more than to post “all we did today was hang out in this one cute cafe with a beautiful view” and share some pictures — but, my husband has never been to Paris before, so it’s likely to be something in between. Still, it’s going to be a relaxed kind of trip. Very laid back, very French. Lots of wine and yummy baguettes and wandering the Marais. Oh my GOSH I am so excited for Paris!!

There are some cool restaurants on rue Quincampoix:

L’Art Brut is a nice hole-in-the-wall. A few doors down is a great traditional French restaurant. And further down, if you’re looking for adventure, is “Dans le Noir”, a restaurant that is completely dark so you can’t even see the food in front of you.
