Off to Mexico

Sunday morning, bright and early, I’m heading out on a solo press trip (sponsored by the Riviera Nayarit CBV) to explore the highest levels of luxury and fascinating cultural spots in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, a dynamic and off-the-beaten-path destination. I’ll be starting up north in San Blas and exploring all the way down to Nuevo Vallarta to find the most beautiful, most exciting and most travel-worthy spots.

Don’t worry (Mom & Dad), I’ll have lots of company from the tourism board the whole time. Spanish is Greek to me, and I don’t speak Greek, and with that and the recent unrest in Mexico I asked that I be accompanied — no “find your way to the train and see you in four hours” shenanigans.

I’m excited to get back out on the road to do what I love to do: travel to fabulous new places, find beauty and humor, drama and hope,  and tell the stories. Next time I write you, it will be from Mexico!

Here’s what I’m packing:

Comfy, dressy-or-casual flats by Audrey Brooke. I picked these up two weeks ago at DSW for just $24. Steal!

I decided not to pack heat, as I understand they have that there.
