Ahem. So, the Pure. Happy. Travel. Cannes coverage has come to a close — with the exception of a few pictures of the red carpet, my red carpet gown and an exclusive, slightly illegal shot from inside the Palais de Festivals theater as the La Nostra Vita cast and crew were recognized with a standing ovation which lasted about 15 minutes. Victoire épique.

Now, the photos. I didn’t make Getty Images — don’t those French photographers know who I am?? (kidding) — but I did get ahold of this. See me on the stairs with my camera out?

Now here’s me in the dress I picked up last minute — want to know a secret? I got it at the local thrift store. It still worked quite well; I dressed it up with a chunky necklace I bought on the beach in Jamaica and some other pieces.

And, last but not least, here’s the inside of the Palais de Festivals during the La Nostra Vita premiere at The Cannes Film Festival 2010. The cast and crew are bathed in light and hugging each other, as shown up on the screen.
